How do you deal with uncertainty?

It’s been almost three months since our last blog post… so yeah, it’s about time we wrote again. Truth is, I’m feeling frustrated again today, so instead of paying a psycologist (totally out of budget 💸), or talking to ChatGPT-4o (GPT-5 doesn’t get me 🥲), I figured writing here is at least good for SEO.

Giorgio and I started Sealambda a year ago. Since then, we’ve managed to:
- Build eight products.
- Incorporate a company in Delaware (not for taxes, but because of Stripe 🙃).
- Launch a podcast.
- Start producing content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
- Create two subreddits.
- Apply to Y Combinator (and get rejected… three times).
Some of these moves worked better than others, but the truth is: Sealambda still isn’t profitable.
So, how do we keep going with all this uncertainty? How do you wake up every day and keep trying when the outcome is… unknown?
For me, it comes down to one thought: today might be the day.
- The day when someone we reached out to finally shows interest, or gives us that game-changing feedback.
- The day a podcast episode resonates, and we discover our niche.
- The day a post or video goes viral 🚀
- The day YC finally says “yes”.
That tiny possibility, that today could be the day, is enough fuel to keep going.
Of course, there’s a trap: trying too many things at once can easily make you lose focus. And that’s another challenge every entrepreneur faces.
Nobody said it’d be easy, right?
